About us

We are a mother daughter team with a long linage of mystery enthusiasts. We started with Nancy Drew and never looked back. We are not experts but will give a fair and balanced review.

Ann Dark is the mom in the team. She is a retired lady who loves to spend time with her husband, family and cat when she can stop reading long enough.

Tracey is the daughter of the team and is a busy working mom.  she has everyone's fantasy job - she works for a candy company.  She listens to books on her commute and squeezes in any other reading she can.

We are both great proponents of any type of reading.   We just love a good mystery.  We are looking for the next Agatha Christie, Ruth Rendell or Dashiel Hammett.  We know they are out there .

Life would be boring without a little mystery!!!

Podcast details

Our podcast can be found on itunes, Stitcher and all major podcast mediums. We  assign a book and on the next full episode review the selected book  and then assign the next book. Our current series is Author Names A-Z. We reach out and include authors as their schedules permit. We are concentrating on authors not yet household names but probably should be.

We also have short "bookend" episodes every other week which include active  book clubs and authors who don't fit into our challenge list.  We enjoy interviewing authors and book lovers like ourselves.
